Marni for H&M

I was so excited when I woke up to the news this morning of the new H&M collection with Marni. Due to hit 260 stores worldwide as well as on line on March 8th. Ive already booked the day off work so I can go down to London and make sure I get my hands on some of this collection and join in the atmosphere.

"I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favourite pieces in signature fabrics and prints," Castiglioni said. "As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements."

The menswear and womenswear offering will showcase all the elements that the Marni mainline has become famous for, from vivid colours to all-over prints. Highlights from the women's collection will include full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped trousers and jacquard knits, in fabrics range from silk to crisp cotton.

Anyone else as excited to see this as me?

The British Fashion Awards

A few of my favorite looks from last nights British Fashion Awards. As usual Alexa Chung just looked stunning, love the Christopher Kane dress she wore. Really like Laura Baileys look as well, she just gets better I think.

Here is a list of winners:

Designer Brand: Victoria Beckham

New Establishment Award: Christopher Kane

Menswear Designer: Kim Jones

Accessory Designer: Charlotte Olympia

Red Carpet Award: Stella McCartney

Emerging Talent Award - Ready-To-Wear: Mary Katrantzou

Emerging Talent Award - Menswear: Christopher Raeburn

Emerging Talent Award - Accessories: Tabitha Simmons

Model: Stella Tennant

BFC Outstanding Achievement: Paul Smith

Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator: Sam Gainsbury

British Style Award (sponsored by Vodafone): Alexa Chung

Baby its cold outside.

Hat: Primark, Coat: ASOS, Shirt: M&S, Jumper: Primark, Jeans: Topshop

Wow, its certainly dropped in temperature these past couple of days and has got so windy here. Getting dressed in definitely about keeping warm at the moment.

Ive wanted these jeans for ages but Topshop sold out everywhere after Miss Chung had worn them so I was very happy to find them when I went to New York. I'm quite pleased with my little turban hat, even if my boyfriend does make allot of jokes about it.

My very different weekend

So this weekend I have been filming for the artist Kid Acne. He is currently working on a series of short films and portraits called Stabby Woman.
Its was very different and not something I have ever done before but really enjoyed myself and met some really great people this weekend.

Sadly I didn't have a chance to take any photos but once they have been sent to me I will post them up here.

In the meantime have a look at his website:

and here is one of his previous videos:

My first Glossy Box

I was so excited when I received my first Glossy Box in the post last week. Its all packaged so beautifully, its like receiving a little present every month and I rushed home from work to check what was in it.

Here's what I had:

Arbone FC5 Ultra Hydrating Hand Creme:
This is the perfect size for my handbag and have been carrying it around with me for the past couple of days now. Its really nice, its helped moisturise my hands in this tough weather, it smells lovely and sinks in really quickly so your not leaving greasy marks everywhere. I really like this hand cream.

Dead Sea Spa, Dead Sea Bath Salts:
Now, in my little house I only have a bath so have not been able to use these properly but have added them to my foot spa and soaked my feet in them and they have left my skin nice and soft, so I can imagine them being a real bath time luxury.

Illamasqua. Freak Eau De Parfum:
Again I have been using this and carrying it around in my handbag. I don't usually go for strong exotic smells with perfumes but I'm surprised at how much I really like this perfume. Ive used it everyday since and its definitely something from this box that I will be getting in full size. Its not too much of a strong smell but lovely and noticeable.

Monu Revitalising Moisturiser:
Ive been using this twice a day every day since getting my Glossy Box and I am hooked, love it. Its made my skin feel so soft, my skin looks brighter and my make up in going on easier as well. Another one I will definitely be purchasing full size (full size £16.95, so a really good price)

Nail Rocks Designer Nail Wraps:
Happy I got these, Ive always wanted to try them. I will do them later and give a proper review of them then

All in all I'm really happy with my Glossy Box, definitely worth and and I'm so looking forward to receiving the next one!

And time is on your side, its on your side, now

Shirt: Topshop, Trousers: H&M, Shoes: Primark, Rings: Topshop, Watch: ASOS, Glasses: Specsavers!

Its very rare I remember to wear my glasses and Im always getting told off by my boyfriends for not wearing them, so this post is for him. See I do wear them!

I never wear watches either but I love the "boyfriend" watch look so got the watch for £25 on ASOS, Im not sure how many times I'l wear it to be honest, Im rubbish at remembering to put stuff like that on, especially as half the time Im rushing out the door.

Its so cold today, but Im getting really excited for Christmas, shopping in nearly done and parties are being booked. I do love this time of year.

I keep thinking today is Friday which is a bit of wishful thinking I think! But at least Thursday means Chip shop night. Yes!

This weeks most wanted- Zara

Printed Trousers £49.99

One for the boys!

I am loving the Smart but with a rough edge look out for men at the moment and Topman are doing this look best in my opinion. I think this look is so much better then those horrible "hareem" style trousers and All Saints boots that I'm sick and tired of seeing.
Come on boys, smarten up a bit but never loose your naughty rough side!

Paul Honoured

PAUL SMITH has been given the British Fashion Awards' highest honour - the Outstanding Achievement accolade, ahead of the official ceremony at the Savoy Hotel on November 28.
"I have known Paul for many years, he has built an incredible business, has bags of integrity and, a great sense of humour," said British Fashion Council chairman Harold Tillman. "Paul Smith, the brand and the man contributes a great deal to our industry commercially and creatively: his signature style is recognised throughout the world. He is the perfect recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award this year."
The accolade is given to those who have made an exceptional contribution to British fashion. Previous winners include John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen.
"After over 40 years in the business, acknowledgements like this mean so much," Smith told us today. "It was a really lovely surprise when I found out, I shall have a tidy up and make a space in my office for the award."

Yay! I adore Paul Smith and all he does. A well deserved accolade indeed

London by Instagram

This weekend we had a family weekend in London. We took the kids to the Natural History Museum which they loved and was fun and then over the Hyde Park for Winter Wonderland where I finally managed to get my boyfriend on a fairground ride!
And most importantly I got to have loads of cuddles with my lovely new nephew Charlie. A brilliant weekend that just flew by too quickly.
Roll on Christmas for more quality family time

All that glitters!

Coat: TK Maxx, Bag: Topshop, Jumpers: both Primark, Leather Shorts: Cow Vintage, Shoes: Primark

I love these shoes, they have to be my favorite at the moment. People always compliment me on them and are amazed when I say they are from Primark and surprisingly the glitter doesn't come off at all.
