The Greatest Place on Earth

So I just got back from a wonderful little holiday to New York. I have fallen head over heals for this City and cannot wait to go back (as soon as I save up enough)
Its the most amazing place I have ever been too, the foot and drink is great, the people lovely, the shopping amazing! I just love the whole buzzing atmosphere.

New York is officially my new husband!

Last night I went out to celebrate a friends birthday. We went for a lovely Japanese meal on the Tapinaki table where they cook it all in front of you and then off out into town to drink far far too much! I am suffering greatly today.

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend and have fresher heads then mine today xx

Versace H&M Collection

Saw these photos of the Vasace H&M collection on the Grazia Website this morning and I cant make up my mind if I like it or not. At first glance I thought wow! But looking at it again now I cant decide if its a bit "bling" for me. I suppose these photos are really dressed up, I mean I don't think I would ever strut around Sheffield in PVC shiny leggings (I'm past that!) But I'm going to wait to see it all in the flesh before I cast judgement

Blog loving

Louder Than silence is another blog I have come across that I have become hooked on. I love that as a couple they do it all together so its a both worlds and I guess Im just really nosy and love looking at other peoples lives

Here is a bit more about them:

Hello! My name is Sally. His name is Ross. We're a couple from London, via the sunny West Midlands. He takes (most of) the photographs and I write (most of) the words you'll see on this here blog.

Louder Than Silence is a place for us to share our photography, musings and snippets of our life and styling efforts in and around London. It was named in The Most Wanted Fashion 100: 2011 Edition in the Best UK Vintage and Thrifty Fashion Blogs category.

Have a look and enjoy and probably get hooked like me!

Louder Than Silence!

So, its still cold...

Dress: Cow Vintage
Shoes: Topshop

So I don't think yesterdays weather was just a one off, today has been cold and raining all day. Just horrible and I forgot my umbrella this morning and resembled a wet dog by the time I got to work today. Not good.

Well only 2 more days till the weekend where I can get some much needed sleep and I have magazine reading and coffee drinking to catch up on!

In this editorial, we see the Autumn/Winter Goldie London Girl draped in luxe velvet and lace, with intriguing details which suggest an individuality and mystery. Goldie's feminine signature look is given a Gothic twist in this collection, with dramatic shapes and heavy fabrics to delicate vintage buttons and lace. Bell bottoms, belted capes and leatherette fringing take her from the vintage markets of London and Paris to the frozen edges of the city where she feels at peace...
Ive never really seen much the the label Goldie London but I am really liking the new Autumn/Winter collection and am so going to invest in some pieces, I am loving velvet dresses at the moment and these are just perfect with a cool 60's vintage vibe.

Keep up to date with their blog here:

The Seasons Change

Dress & Jacket- Vintage
Shoes- New Look

I woke up this morning to strong winds and rain, summer has definitely said goodbye and Autumn is showing her face.

I must say I am quite excited about getting to wear some of the new trends for this season, I'm liking the Mod and Heritage trends the most. Ive always had a thing for Mods so am looking forward to trying out some of these styles.

Today has mostly consisted of looking at photos of the wonderful Chanel display at Harrods wishing I could get down there to see it, You can actually walk through a bag! Imagine that?

Also wishing that I was in New York now to enjoy all the fashion night out goings on and the build up to fashion week.

I seem to have done lots of wishing and lusting today
